The ROHL will be gradually implementing Neck Guards as a mandatory policy. This has been a topic of discussion over the years but has now been voted on and approved by our Operating Committee. I am sure this is no surprise with the recent news in the hockey world. 

 

An effective date will be determined and communicated in a few weeks by Rob Burns (Rules & Safety Official) as we work on the details.

 

In the interim, please be proactive and source a Neck Guard or Base Layer Neck Guard Shirt ASAP! Supply and demand could be an issue with many other players and leagues reacting the same way.
