I hope everyone is enjoying ROHL Hockey and our new players getting settled into the league having fun and a post-game pop at Kelsey's. I miss playing in our league but coaching my son's team on Wednesday has been a great experience and we are off to a good start.

 

I have been chatting with Team Sponsors and Reps monitoring the start of the season. We will be meeting after 6 Games to discuss the following:

• Trades and Balancing between teams (a minor trade has quietly been completed between Bullzie and Sitco with an injured player having a late start)
• Zamboni Flood between games (we have added 5 Minutes to Game 1 allowed by the Arena Operator as they are having issues timing floods between contracts and rinks to eliminate some of the wait time for Game 2)
• Experimenting with 1 and 2 Referees (our level of play is slower and could permit 1 Ref to save costs and reduce league fees - TBD)
• New Website and App (hopefully each player and team is using the App to its potential)
• NECK GUARDS (this will be addressed in a separate email)

If you have any suggestions or concerns please address these with your Team Sponsors and Rep this week. They will bring these forward at our meeting on Nov. 15.
