Does your child LOVE baseball?! Would they like to play at a more competitive level this season? If the answer to these questions is yes, then come on out for our Select teams!

Not sure what Select is? Select is in addition to House League and is mostly on the weekends. In order to be on the Select team, players are required to try out and, based on strengths, a team is created. Unlike House League, not everyone makes it, but the try outs are a great opportunity for players to get more training, direct coaching, and to have fun with their friends and team mates. There is no extra charge for the prep sessions or tryouts, but if a player makes the team, there are additional costs associated beyond House League registration. We are really hoping to have a Select team in every division this year, so please, even if you are unsure, come out, ask questions, and see what it is all about.

We will have prep sessions prior to try outs. Those will be:

March 25 - 6-7 U9, 7-8 U11, 8-9 U13

March 26 - 6-7:30 U15, 7:30-9 U18

The tryout schedule will be:

March 27 - 6-7:30 U9, 7:30-9 U13

April 8 - 6-7:30 U11, 7:30-9 U15

April 9 - 6-7 U9, 7-8 U13, 8-9 U18

April 10 - 6-7 U11, 7-8 U15, 8-9 U18

Based on interest and attendance, final tryouts will take place April 15th, 16th, and 17th, schedule TBD.

Each player must wear running shoes (no cleats permitted), and bring their own glove, bat, and batting helmet.

All prep sessions and tryouts will take place at Pauline Johnson Elementary School, 25 Hummingbird Lane, Hamilton.
