Fundraisers

Due to our clubs growth, grants and generous donations we are able to keep our fees low and our fundraisers to a minimum. As stated above, each family registered for the full season is asked to participate in two fundraisers and each family registered in the 10 week program is asked to participate in one fundraiser. Families can choose to opt out of fundraising at a cost of $100 per fundraiser. Please see bingo information below on how to become exempt from one of the two fundraisers for those skating for the full seasion.

Bingos- The Langham Skating Club will be asking for help to run one bingo this year. Something important to know is that by doing bingos, we receive extra money on a monthly basis from the Twin Charities Lottery Organization which makes a huge impact on our financial needs for our little club. Once we have the date for our bingo, a sign-up sheet will be sent out. If bingos are not for you, we will accept a $50 donation to cover the cost of hiring bingo hall staff to help us run the night. Due to Sask lottery rules we cannot force anyone to work bingos but we are offering an incentive! Families that participate in the bingo by either working the bingo or donating $50 to pay for a worker will be exempt from doing the second fundraiser in the spring.

It’s a pretty fun night and a good way for us parents to get to know each other.
