Mission Statement

WE DO:

Create an environment in which players can reach their full potential and achieve self-confidence and positive self-esteem necessary for success in softball and in life.
Promote the game of fast-pitch softball with the respect it deserves.
Use the elevated profile of softball players to support various public causes in our communities.
Empower coaches to coach their teams and look at more than just a team's win/loss record to measure their success.
Help those athletes who want to play in college get recruited and obtain college scholarships.
Provide an alternative to privately funded softball organizations with high membership fees.

WE DO NOT:

Trophy hunt. We encourage all teams to play "up" at whatever level of softball will truly challenge the players and coaches on the team.
Have "daddy ball" where a coach's child gets playing opportunities that others do not.
Put up with drama. Every single girl that puts on a Lady Legends uniform, from 8U to 14U is important, but they and their parents must accept being part of our team.
Generate income for club officers or the board of directors, which includes each team's coach. All public money raised goes towards our facilities, the teams and the girls playing on the team.
