2024 Spring League Information - Men's League

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR THE 2024 ADULT SPRING LEAGUE!
Registration Deadline is March 21st, 2024 ($35 late fee/player for all payments made after this date)

League Start: April 15, 2024
Season End: July 17, 2024
# of Games: 16 (includes reg season + Playoffs)
Days of Week: Monday and Wednesday
- Some weeks it will be Mon or Wed (1 game) - Other weeks it will be Mon and Wed.
- Other days of the week may be scheduled, as number of teams increase
Arena's: Memorial and Rutland Hockey Arena

SKILL & EXPERIENCE LEVELS
All skill and experience levels, beginner to advanced, are welcome!
We expect to have multiple divisions to match all skills sets, experience levels and competitive interests

DIVISIONS
All of our adult leagues have divisions for all different skill sets and experience levels, we will not be able to determine formats of divisions, until all teams are registered. Typically, we have a reseed round to see where teams belong and properly place them for remainder of schedule.

REGISTRATION TYPES
Full Team, Individual, Small and Large Groups (see bottom of page for description and registration for each)

CBHA and BCBHA SANCTIONED LEAGUE
This is the only recognized league in Kelowna by the BCBHA (British Columbia Ball Hockey Association) and the Canadian Ball Hockey Association (CBHA).
This gives our league and players access to:
- Limited Medical and Liability Insurance
- Access to all Provincial, Regional, National and Global tournaments and events put on by the Canadian Ball Hockey Association

SCHEDULING 
A. League Schedule: You can expect the full league regular season schedule to appear in its entirety shortly after registration
B. Format: We will schedule games on a 1-2-1 basis, below is example of this.
Week 1: (1) game played, Week 2: (2) games played, Week 3: (1) game played etc...
DAYS & TIMES
Monday to Thursdays will be game days 7-10pm will be the start times.

OFFICIALS, TIMEKEEPERS AND STATS
- We use a two referee system.
- All of our officials will be certified by through the BCBHA and CBHA
- Timekeepers provided every game for clock management and statistical entry
- Teams and Players will have full access to comprehensive online team stats and standings

GAME LENGTH (6O Minutes)
- 5 min warm up, 2 x 20 minute halves (2nd half stop), Penalty Shots (regular season)

SEASON LENGTH: April 27th to July 15th, 2023

COSTS

GST added to all above registrations, Jersey fee $25 added to all individual/group registrants
