6ERS COMMUNITY DIVISION GENERAL RULES (UPDATED: 05/05/2026)


GENERAL:
- Basket height is 8 feet.
- Game ball size is 27.0.

GAME FORMAT: 
- 3-on-3 half court game with coach participation.
- Score will not be kept
- Games will have eight (8) 4-minute periods. All players are required to have an equal playing time. Should play no less than 3 periods.
- Teams will have no timeouts.
- Substitutions can only be made at the end of each period.

DEFENSIVE MODIFICATIONS:
- Teams play Man-to-man defense only.
- At the start of each period, teams must line up to match up individual players by skill level.
- Players are not allowed to pursue any on-ball steals or blocks from the opponent.
- Players are allowed to pursue any loose balls or steal a pass.

OFFENSIVE MODIFICATIONS:
- Travels & double-dribbles will not be fully enforced.
Coach is required to stand on the court along the 3-point line area during live play.
- Coaches initiate the start of any offensive possession.
- At every change of possession. Players must clear the ball with their coach.

PEE WEE COMMUNITY DIVISION GENERAL RULES (UPDATED: 05/05/2026)


GENERAL:
- Basket height is 8 feet.
- Game ball size is 27.0.

GAME FORMAT: 
- 5-on-5 full court game with coach participation.
- Score will not be kept. 
- Games will have four (4) 8-minute periods. All players are required to have an equal playing time. Should play no less than 1 full quarter each half.
- Clock stops only coach or referee timeouts.
- Teams will have two (2) 30-second timeouts per half.
- Substitutions can only be made at the end of each period or during coaches timeouts only. 

DEFENSIVE MODIFICATIONS:
- Teams play Man-to-man defense only.
- No double-teaming is allowed outside of the key. Help defense is allowed outside the key till original matchup recovers onto the ball.
- At the start of each period, teams must line up to match up individual players my skill level.
- Players are not allowed to pursue any on-ball steals or blocks from the opponent for the first half of the season. Players are allowed to pursue any loose balls or steal a pass for the entire season.
- Players are not allowed to backcourt pressure. Are unable to pressure or cause a turnover before the penetration line.

OFFENSIVE MODIFICATIONS:
- Travels & double-dribbles will be enforced at referees discretion.
- Players are allowed 3 fouls in the first half, with 6 fouls allowed for the entire game.
- No shooting fouls for the first half of the season. The second half of the season will intoduce one free-throw per shooting foul.

MIDGET COMMUNITY DIVISION GENERAL RULES (UPDATED: 05/05/2026)


GENERAL:
- Basket height is 10 feet.
- Game ball size is 28.5.

GAME FORMAT: 
- 5-on-5 full court game with coach participation.
- Score will be kept. 
- Games will have four (4) 8-minute periods. All players are required to have an equal playing time. Should play no less than 1 full quarter each half.
- 3-minute overtime will take place if the score ends in a tie. Game will end in a tie if score is tied at the end of the overtime. No timeouts.
- Clock stops only coach or referee timeouts.
- Clock will also stop at the the last 2 minutes of the 4th quarter.
- Teams will have two (2) 30-second timeouts per half.
- Substitutions can only be made at the end of each period or during coaches timeouts only. Free substitution only in the 4th quarter.

DEFENSIVE MODIFICATIONS:
- Teams play Man-to-man defense only.
- No double-teaming is allowed outside of the key. Help defense is allowed outside the key till original matchup recovers onto the ball.
- At the start of each period, teams must line up to match up individual players my skill level.

OFFENSIVE MODIFICATIONS:
- Travels & double-dribbles will be enforced at referees discretion. Violations will be more heavily enforced in this age division.
- Players are allowed 5 fouls for the entire game.
- Shooting fouls will result in 1 free-throw that will be worth the amount of points on where the foul was committed. And-1's will be automatic.
- No slaughter rule will be applied when a team is ahead by 15 points.

- Score will be kept. 
- Games will have four (4) 8-minute periods. All players are required to have an equal playing time. Should play no less than 1 full quarter each half.
- 3-minute overtime will take place if the score ends in a tie. Sudden death overtime will follow if necessary. 1 timeout per team per overtime.
- Clock stops only coach or referee timeouts.
- Clock will also stop at the the last 2 minutes of the 4th quarter.
- Teams will have two (2) 30-second timeouts per half. 
- Substitutions can only be made at the end of each period or during coaches timeouts only. Free substitution only in the second half of the game.

DEFENSIVE MODIFICATIONS:
- Teams play Man-to-man defense only.
- No double-teaming is allowed outside of the key only during the first half of the game. 
- At the start of each period and after timeouts, teams must line up to match up individual players my skill level.
- Man-to-man backcourt pressure is allowed.

OFFENSIVE MODIFICATIONS:
- Travels & double-dribbles violations will be more heavilty enforced in this age division.
- Players are allowed 5 fouls for the entire game. Team foul bonuses will begin at the 7th foul of each half.
- Shooting fouls will be enforced. And-1's free-throws will also be shot.
- No slaughter rule will be applied when a team is ahead by 10 points in the first half & at 15 points in the second half.

- Substitution outlooks are shown the rulebook. Generally teams can substitute freely the entire game under guidelines stated.

- Teams can play any style of defense is allowed during the entire game.

- Travels & double-dribbles violations will be enforced regularly in this age division.
- Players are allowed 5 fouls for the entire game. Team foul bonuses will begin at the 7th foul of each half.
