• All health and safety protocols are to be followed as per Phase 2 of the Ontario Soccer's Return to Play Guidelines (physical distancing when on sidelines & upon arrival, sanitization of hands & equipment pre/during/post match play, no heading, no throw-ins, etc.).
• Home team wears a lighter (white/yellow) top, away team in dark (navy/grey). Bring both to each game.
• Shin pads required.
• Games will be 2 halves of 25 minutes in length.
• 2 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, & no points for a loss.
• Substitutions are physically distanced on the fly from the sidelines by the halfway line.
• Refereeing will be done by coaches or assigned players.
• Kick-ins are indirect and will be used for all restarts of match play.
• Kickoffs are indirect.
• All opponents must be at least 2 m (6 ft) away from the ball during kickoffs, kick-ins & restarts.
• Fouls will result in an indirect free-kick.
• A Hand ball will result in a direct free-kick.
• Fouls and hand balls inside the penalty area will result in a penalty shot.
• Players must be behind the penalty spot and outside of the penalty arc/key during a penalty shot.
• Play is live should the penalty shot have a rebound and remain in the field of play.
• No offsides.
• Coaches will go over the final rules with teams at the first match.
