Cheerleading Programs Fall Season (August – December)

Our primary season begins in August and runs through the end of October, with postseason play potentially extending into the first week of December. Each team will have mandatory choreography days and practices in August, which will be detailed during registration for the upcoming fall season.

Cheerleading is a true team sport, and we ask that if your child is involved in additional activities, cheerleading takes priority. Attendance at all practices and competitions is considered mandatory.

All teams cheer for Hopkinton Youth Football, with games typically held on Sundays. While we primarily attend home games, there may be some travel for away games.

Fall athletes will participate in a showcase, end-of-season banquet, varsity night with both Hopkinton and Ashland, as well as team and individual pictures.

Divisions & Progression: We offer a progressive program tailored to age and skill level. While divisions can include 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U, we typically field three competitive divisions.

Younger Cheerleaders: 1–2 practices per week.

Older Cheerleaders: 3–4 practices per week with an increased competition schedule.

Path to Nationals: Our oldest division is nationally tracked. Teams that qualify earn the opportunity to compete at Nationals in Orlando, Florida, during the first week of December.

Spring Cheer Clinic: A 6-week, clinic-style program held in the off-season. Athletes meet once a week to focus on fundamentals, stunts, cheers, and routine building. This program is ideal for new athletes to learn the basics and for returning athletes to sharpen their skills for the Fall.
