Remember playing kickball at recess? It's exactly like that — except now there's beer, theme nights, and a whole lot more trash talk.
Kickball is essentially baseball's laid-back cousin. Instead of hitting a ball with a bat, you kick a large rubber ball and run the bases. The pitcher rolls the ball, you kick it as far as you can, and your team tries to score runs before the other team gets three outs.
At GS3, we play a co-ed, social-first version that prioritizes fun and inclusion. The even-gender rule keeps things fair, and our house rules keep things interesting.
Solo? No Problem.Show up by yourself and we'll put you on a team. Some of our best captains started as free agents who didn't know a single person. By week 3, you'll have inside jokes. | Theme Nights Hit DifferentNacho Night. 90s Night. Neon Night. Every Thursday has a vibe. Free food, costumes, and a bar waiting for you after the final out. It's a party that happens to have kickball. |

The Afterparty Is the Main EventWin or lose — and usually it's lose — everyone heads to Ben & Nick's. That's where the league actually happens. Drinks, debates, and the kind of conversations that turn strangers into family. | Mosswood Is SacredThere's something magic about Thursday nights at Mosswood Park. The fog rolls in, the music starts, and for two hours nothing else matters. Oakland's backyard becomes ours. |
