Welcome to Grand Valley Competitive Softball League

Thank you all for your interest in this new softball league bringing our local competitive teams together to give talented girls valuable playing time. I’m excited to share more details and be fully transparent about how the league will operate and what the associated costs look like.

League Purpose
This league is focused on development, reps, and live game practice before tournament season. It’s a chance for athletes to sharpen their skills, get meaningful playing time, and compete in a supportive environment.

Season & Schedule
Starting in March and running through June, we will host games in both Grand Junction and Delta, running Sunday through Wednesday each week.

• Grand Junction games will be held at Kronkite - 588 25 1/2 RD  or  Long Family - 3118 E 1/2 RD
  • Times:  4:30pm – 6:30pm for single games
  • ​​​​​​​Times:  4:30pm – 7:30pm for double header games (10 minutes between games)
  • Times:  1:30pm – 2:30pm for single Sunday games
  •  ​​​​​​Times:  1:30pm – 4:30pm for dounble header Sunday games (10 minutes between games)
• Delta games will take place at the Delta High School field - 1400 PIONEER RD
  • Times: 1:30pm – 3:30pm for single games
  • Times: 1:30pm – 4:30pm for double header games (10 minutes between games)

Game Format

• 90-minute games for singles
• 70‑minute games for double headers (10 minute break between games)
• 30-minute warm‑up time provided beforehand

Cost Breakdown
To give everyone a clear picture of where fees go, here are the field and game-related expenses:

• Field Rental: $78.00 
• Early Field Access: $30.00 if you want an hour warm up instead of 30 minutes
• Umpire Fee: $50–$70 per game/per umpire

*Teams pick how many league games they want to play and based on availability will be scheduled accordingly.
