welcome to vermonts first fall lacrosse league!
Gateway Lacrosse is designed to provide additional opportunities for youth players in Vermont and Northern NY to compete, learn, and develop a love for the sport of lacrosse. Teams will be provided with one full length (8 min, stop time quarter) game each week. Games will be scheduled for Saturdays, with start times between 1-4pm, at the Essex Tree Farm fields. Regular season games will be scheduled on 9/13, 20, 27, 10/4, and 11. The top four teams from each division (Boys and Girls Grades 4/5/6 and 7/8/9) will be scheduled for a semi-final game on 10/18, while other teams will play a consolation game on this date. Championship and 3rd place games will be scheduled for eligible teams on 10/25.
Team registration will begin on 8/1. Once a coach has registered a team (No fee), individual players will be able to join their preferred team for $70 starting on 8/13. Teams should have a minimum of 15 players and a maximum of 20. Both boys and girls divisions will play 10v10 (3 Attack, 3 Mids, 3 Defenders, and a Goalie) with full size goals and fields. The league may assign free agents to established teams to support healthy rosters.
Players will be required to purchase a league uniform for $25 via Signature Locker through an online link provided post registration. Uniforms will be shipped directly to players if ordered prior to 8/22. If your team already has uniforms or if you have players who miss this registration date or if you have any other questions, please let me know via email at gatewaylacrossevt@gmail.com.
