FYCA FAQs
HOW DO I REGISTER?
- Registration Closes: May 16,2025. No additional registration will be accepted after May 16th, 2025 (No exceptions)
- Registration Fee: $120 (includes practice T-shirt/shorts, uniform bow, trophy, & end-of-season party)
2. Download the TeamLinkt app on your mobile device. You will receive an email welcoming you to FYCA and a link that will place you directly into your cheerleaders’ grade/team. 
3. You will be able to communicate directly with your coach after registration has closed.
WHAT AGE CAN PARTICIPATE?
Cheer is offered for grades K-6th, all experience levels welcome.
CAN ANY GENDER PARTICIPATE?
ABSOLUTELY!!!
WHEN WILL MY COACH CONTACT ME?
Your coach will be in contact through our downloaded Teamlinkt app. You will be notified via the registered email address, which places you directly into your grades personalized group.
HOW LONG IS THE SEASON?
The season runs from August through November.
Practice begins mid-July. Regular season football games begin at the beginning of August, with our Fairfield Crystal Classic. Cheering for games ends when football games are over, typically at the end of October.
HOW OFTEN ARE PRACTICES AND WHERE ARE THEY HELD?
Practices are held at various parks and schools in Fairfield, OH. You will know your practice schedule by July. Teams practice 1 - 2 days per week.
WHAT DAYS ARE PRACTICES?
The practice days are determined by the coaches and will be communicated in July. If you have a conflict, please communicate that early on to the coaches. Our attendance policy is strictly enforced. (It is possible your coaches will notify you before July)
WHERE ARE THE GAMES?
Most games are on Saturday; however, Sundays are possible. Home games are played at Fairfield Youth Football Fields. Away games can be held anywhere in the GCYFL (Greater Cincinnati Youth Football League) which covers most of southwest Ohio. Traveling to away games will be involved, and most teams will be required to arrive 30 minutes prior to game time. The schedule is released by the GCYFL in July so you can plan ahead.

2025 CHEER UNIFORM FEE
UNIFORMS MUST BE ORDERED BY JUNE 1ST, 2025. No additional orders will be accepted after June 1st, 2025 (No exceptions)
- Ordering will be available on Fairfield Youth Cheerleading website starting May 12th, 2025
Bow-to-Toe new uniform package $198.25 +tax
This will include cheer uniform: Shell, skirt, bodysuit, briefs, socks, shoes, and pom poms. (Please note this is the last year for this uniform design. A full Bow-to-Toe uniform with new design will be required for 2026 season).
Returning Cheerleaders: If you have a uniform that fits, you will not be required to purchase a new uniform.

Used Uniforms
You may sell your old uniform items at a separate table during FYCA Uniform Fittings or on the FYCA Used Uniform FB page. Buyer will directly pay the seller. You must remain with the items you are trying to sell at the event. FYCA is not responsible for missing items. FYCA is not involved in the pricing or sales transactions between buyers and sellers.
