how do i pay our team fees?
Team fees can be paid via e-transfer, cash, cheque, money order, or credit card.
E-transfers can be sent to edmontonbasketball2016@gmail.com. We are set up for auto deposit, however, if you are required to make a password, please make it: basketball
Cash, Cheque, or Money Orders can be dropped off to the EBA Office. Please make arrangements to drop it off.
Credit Card payments can be taken through our TeamLinkt Registration. Please note: Credit Card fees will be passed along to the teams choosing to pay by Credit Card.
DOES MY TEAM REQUIRE UNIFORMS?
Yes, your team will need matching uniforms with numbers on the front and back for all players by your first game (Please note: For Fall/Winter Season team's have till October 1, 2025).
Recommended retailers: Emerge Sportswear, Jekasa International Sportswear, Business Solutions (Marston Awards), and United Sport & Cycle (Let them know we referred you).
what equipment do we need to provide?
Your team will need one good game ball (size 7). Home team provides the game ball and score sheet at every game.
does the league sell basketballs?
We sell basketballs at a discounted rate. Prices will depend what is in stock. Both men’s and women’s league play with a size 7 ball.
where can i get scoresheets?
Scorebooks can be picked up at the AGM for Fall/Winter teams.
If you are registering for Spring/Summer league, you will need to contact Corey at
coachcoreyschwartz@gmail.com to arrange pick-up.
If you lose your score sheet booklet you can purchase another one for $20.00.
why do i need an aba/cb membership?
ABA / CB membership is your personal insurance plan and allows the league to have EBOA officials. Membership is valid from September 1 to August 31 and is good for fall, spring and summer league.
how many games do teams get?
Fall/Winter League:
Teams will play 7 seeding round games, 14 round robin games followed by 3 playoff games (format to be determined based on the number of teams). The season will run from September to March. Games will not be set on one given night. Expect to play any evening Monday to Sunday (afternoon on Sundays as well).

Round 2: Regular Season
14 Games
Round 3: Playoffs
Top 4 teams – round robin, top 2 in finals
Bottom 4 teams – round robin, top 2 in finals
Or a modified schedule depending on the number of teams
Spring League & Summer League:
Teams will usually have a 8-12 game season plus playoffs.
Most games will be on Monday to Thursday with some weekend games.
This will be based upon availability of court space.
how do divisions work?
Divisions are seeded based on skill level (Most competitive division is 1).
Division 1 will primary be comprised of players who played USPORT in college/university or an equivalent level. This is a higher skill/athletic level of play.
Lower tiers will vary in range of skill and athleticism.
The league will seed new teams based on the information provided in regards to the playing experience of the players on the team’s roster.
