Charleston Women's Fastpitch Softball Association is an expansion city for the Women's Fastpitch Softball Association (WFSA).
Our goal is to create a league for women 18 and over to be able to come out and have fun while playing fastpitch softball.
After all, why play slow, when you can play fast!

WFSA holds travel tournaments!
Every year the WFSA hold various tournaments across the United States including a national tournament in Orange Country, California.

Tera de la cerda - chs league president
Hi! My name is Tera De La Cerda and I am 25 years old. I have played fastpitch since I was 6 years old and have loved the sport since the first time I picked up a bat. I followed my mom to Mount Pleasant, SC in July of 2025 from Washington state. One of the biggest things I wanted to do once I got settled after the move was start a league under the WFSA in Charleston, SC. I played in the Seattle WFSA league since 2021 when we were able to start up again after COVID. I recently flew out to California in November 2025 to play in the WFSA World Series where my team, Western Washington Wranglers took home the championship for the minors division. I graduated from North Thurston High School in Lacey, WA in June of 2018 and went on to play college softball for Lower Columbia College in Longview, WA in 2019. In 2024, I returned to North Thurston to coach the JV team and coach the pitching staff for all levels. I am not only a senior at Grand Canyon University(online) but I run my own graphic and website design business and I'm a single mom to a very energetic 2 year old who will be 3 in June so I understand the need for a break! I love the WFSA because it gives us the opportunity to play fastpitch again! I remember thinking about how after college it was either play slowpitch or play pro softball. Slowpitch was the only option for me and it made me sad to think about. Luckily I found Seattle WFSA and that league helped me find a new love for the game! I aspire to grow that same enviornment here in Charleston and give everyone an opportunity to experience that same feeling. WFSA cares about us platers and strives to get better every year. Our national office loves to come up with new opportunities and tournaments for us to continue to play or even try the sport out!
