The Chaos Junior Lacrosse Club's governance documents serve as the foundation for our organization's operations. By adhering to these documents, we ensure accountability, fairness, and consistency in decision-making processes. Our goal is for the Club to function smoothly and simply in the here and now while preparing to respond to challenges that may arise in the future.
Our Club's governance documents consist of four key components: the
Mission Statement,
Bylaws,
Code of Conduct, and
Club Policies. Each document plays a crucial role in maintaining a positive and inclusive environment for all players, coaches, parents, and volunteers involved in the Club.
The Chaos Junior Lacrosse Club membership ratified the following at AGM 2023:
MISSION STATEMENT
On a not-for-profit basis, to create and expand opportunities for Junior-aged (17-21 year old)
players to continue playing Box Lacrosse within the boundaries of the Southern Alberta Lacrosse Association
This represents our mandate and the core values which guide our organization's actions and decisions, serving as a compass for the Club's overall direction.
The
Bylaws provide detailed guidelines for the organizational structure and operations of the club. They define the roles and responsibilities of board members, coaches, and other key positions within the club.
The
Code of Conduct clearly sets out the Club's expectations for Club representatives, players, and fans alike regarding sportsmanship and respect for others. The Code of Conduct fosters a positive atmosphere that encourages personal growth and development both on and off the floor.
Lastly, the
Club Policies offer guidance on various aspects of club operations. These are dynamic documents which will evolve and grow with the Club over time. Current policies may be viewed below.
The Chaos Junior Lacrosse Club strives to provide an exceptional experience for our young athletes while upholding the highest standards of integrity and sportsmanship. Feedback is always welcome and we invite any questions or concerns be brought to our attention by reaching out to
