Our Spring Hockey Program is the perfect solution to keep players sharp during the gap between the end of the regular season (mid-to-late March) and the start of next season’s team tryouts, which begin middle to end of April, and run into early May depending on the level of play (AAA, AA, A, or B). Whether your player is gearing up for tryouts or simply looking to maintain and work on their skills until summer begins, this program provides excellent coverage without requiring a summer-long commitment.
Each week, our coaches deliver fun, station-based ice sessions that include a mix of 3-on-3, 4-on-4, or 5-on-5 scrimmages, intersquad play, and small-area games, all designed to develop skating, shooting, puckhandling, and passing skills in a positive, engaging environment.
For those looking for additional ice time and competition, tournament teams will also be available through tryouts.
Sessions are planned to take place at the Lindsay Recreation Complex, primarily on Sunday afternoons or evenings, with occasional Mondays depending on availability and long weekends.

Q: What age groups is the program for?
A: Our program is open to players of all levels between U9 and U18. Specific groupings will be determined based on registration numbers. Age Groups may be combined as dual age groups if necessary.
Q: What level of play does your program cater to?
A: Players of all levels can benefit from our skills sessions, which are designed to improve fundamentals and game readiness for everyone. However, our tournament teams are competitive teams aiming to compete at the A/B level or higher at tournaments. The exact level of play depends on individual team composition and the competitive level of the players selected during tryouts.
Q: Can my child participate in both the skills sessions and the tournament team?
A: Absolutely! Players are welcome to register for the skills sessions and also try out for the tournament team.
Q: Are goalies included in the skills sessions?
A: Yes! We provide a dedicated goalie coach at every session with a goalie-to-coach ratio of 4:1. Goalies also receive discounted rates using code GOALIES2025 during registration.
Q: What happens if my child doesn’t make the tournament team?
A: Players who don’t make the tournament team can still participate in the skills sessions and benefit from development opportunities.
