For the upcoming Spring 2026 season, our Spring Hockey programming will look different than in past years.
This year, we will not be offering standalone skill development sessions. Instead, our Spring program will focus exclusively on Tournament Teams.
The spring hockey landscape continues to evolve. With OMHA spring tryouts occurring earlier and more Minor Hockey Associations and training centres now offering their own spring skill development programs, we believe it’s important not to overlap or compete with programming being delivered by local MHAs.
Our goal is to support minor hockey associations and their coaches who choose to offer spring skill development leading into tryouts, and to encourage families to take advantage of those opportunities within their home associations where available.
This approach allows us to stay aligned with the broader minor hockey pathway while continuing to offer a spring option for players looking to compete.
While we are stepping back from skill-only sessions, Spring Tournament Teams will continue in 2026.
These teams are designed for players who want:
Additional game play via tournaments
A competitive spring hockey experience
Short-term commitment without a full summer schedule
Teams may be formed through tryouts or by invitation, depending on age group, level, and overall interest
Tournament schedules, formats, and team structures may vary by group

Registration details and team announcements will be released as plans are confirmed.
