Todd grew up playing lacrosse in Penn Yan, NY just outside of Rochester. He was
coached by Hall of Fame HS coach Harry Queener and coach Brian Hobart. Todd was
an All-League Midfielder and All-league Tight End for the Mustangs from 1992-1995.
After High School Todd attended DIII Brockport State where he played football and lacrosse.
In 2000, he moved to California and began his coaching career at Woodside HS,
helping transition the team from a club sport to a CIF varsity team. While at Woodside,
Todd earned the 2005 US Lacrosse Assistant Coach of the Year Award for Northern
California. In 2007, Todd was hired as the Head Coach at Menlo School in Atherton.
As head coach, Todd led the Knights to multiple championship game appearances and
won League Championships in 2010 and 2011.
In 2006, Todd was hired as a player/coach for the Latvian Mens National team and
helped guide them to a 4-3 record in the 2006 World Lacrosse games in London,
Ontario.
Over his coaching career, Todd has been active in the college recruiting process
sending multiple players to D1, D3 and MCLA schools including Princeton, Dartmouth,
Williams College, Arizona State, Loyola Marymount, NDNU, and SMCU.
In 2018, Todd founded Hollister Youth Lacrosse. What started as an 8U team with 5
players, has grown to 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U teams with over 75 kids and growing. He
is currently the 12U H.A.W.G.S coach, and President.
