It is understood that all soccer players join for different reasons: recreation, exercise, competition, and enjoyment. We welcome all, but it must be clear that everyone is there to play and have fun. Whether the player is on or off the field, it is hoped that everyone will cooperatively respect each other, the other teams, and the volunteers (coaches, assistant coaches, managers and administrators). There will be a zero-tolerance policy by the coaches for anyone not adhering to these guidelines. The coaches will have the authority to ask disruptive players to leave the field. Parents and guardians should lead by example by encouraging the child to play by the rules and to resolve conflicts without hostility or violence. If you feel there is a conflict that cannot be resolved by you and the coach, feel free to contact the league administration. Players will attend games or practices in a timely fashion. Late starts affect everyone. If you know you will be late or absent, contact your coach or manager. Background criminal checks are performed on the coaches and assistant coaches; if it were to come back as “not-clear” it is up to the discretion of the club as to whether to accept the volunteer.
We require written notice for cancellation. If received prior to April 8th (when league fees are due), you will receive full reimbursement. Between April 8th to 24th you will receive partial reimbursement depending on insurance and field fees for the season. Once the season begins (April 25th) there is no re-imbursement. Pro-rated reimbursements may be considered if a player has a medical condition (documented by a medical practitioner) which makes them unable to play for the season.
