Luke Scoboria - Head Coach (lukescobo@gmail.com, 610-655-5624)
Luke began swimming for Antietam when he was 5 and continued until he was 18. Luke is a team record holder and is a multiple time BCSA champion throughout his years as an Alligator. Luke graduated from Exeter High School in 2019 where he continued swimming and also played water polo. Luke qualified for the PIAA District 3 Championships all 4 years in high school and was an All-State selection as well as All-Berks First Team in water polo. Luke graduated from Bloomsburg University this spring with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Luke also continued swimming at Bloomsburg University and then Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he was a 6x All-PSAC performer, team captain, and a member of the Dean’s List. Luke holds school records in relays at both Bloomsburg and IUP. Luke began his high school coaching career this past year serving as an assistant coach for the Indiana High School swim team. The boys and girls both went 7-0 to win the section title and the boys won the District 7 WPIAL Class AA title as well as the PIAA AA State title.
Rachel Nye - Assistant Coach (rachelnye13@aol.com)
Rachel began swimming at Muhlenberg Swimming Association when she was 4 years old. At age 9 she transitioned to Laurel Run and continued there until she was 18. Rachel also swam for Muhlenberg Age Group when she was an age-grouper and once she hit high school she swam all 4 years for Muhlenberg High School. Upon graduating high school, Rachel continued her academic and athletic career at Albright College where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry and was on the swim team. Rachel is currently an Assistant Coach for Exeter High School Swim Team and plans to return again for them in the winter. Rachel was previously an Assistant Coach for Antietam back in 2019 and is eager to return this summer for a fun and successful season!
Nick Griffith- Assistant Coach (griffithn061@gmail.com)
Coach Nick started swimming at Antietam when he was 7 continuing to swim at Antietam through his entire swimming career until he was 18. During the winter season he has swam for Boyertown YMCA, Reading YMCA, and Mifflin age group before he was in high school. All four years of high school he swam and played water polo for Exeter Township Senior High School before continuing his swimming career at Albright College where he earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental science. He is currently an assistant for Exeter Townships High School Swim team and is planning to return this coming season.
Jordyn Katrinak- Assistant Coach (jordyn.katrinak@yahoo.com)
Jordyn began swimming at age 5. She started her summer swimming career for East Reading Pool and eventually swam for Crestwood for one year before going to college. She swam age group swimming with Reading Mini Knights until she aged out of the program and then began swimming for Reading High School through their co-op program with Berks Catholic. Jordyn then attended West Chester University where she earned her undergrad degree and eventually her masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. She is now the head coach for Reading Mini Knight age group swimming and can’t wait to continue coaching throughout the summer!
Lauren Ramsey- Assistant Coach (ramlaur10@icloud.com)
Lauren started swimming for Antietam when she was 7 years old. She currently holds 14 team records and is the county record holder in the 100 backstroke. A 2023 graduate of Exeter High School, Lauren holds 5 school records with the eagles. All four years of high school, Lauren was a PIAA District 3 qualifier, PIAA State qualifier, and All-Berks selection. In addition she is a 3x high school All-American. Lauren started club swimming at Albright Aquatic Club when she was 7 and then moved to the Reading YMCA when she was 11. At RY Lauren competed at the National Championships for four years and was a 5x finalist. In the fall, Lauren will attend Marshall University to continue swimming and major in Nursing.
Lana Brown- Assistant Coach (brownlana04@gmail.com)
Lana began swimming for Antietam when she was 8 years old. She currently has one record with Antietam in the 13-14 50 breast. When she was 14 she switched teams and began swimming for Hillside to be coached by her club coach. During her first year, she broke the 13-14 50 back record. She placed first in all of her events at championships and was presented with the Age Group award, High Point award, and Sportsmanship award. She graduated in 2022 from Oley Valley and then attended Shippensburg University in the Fall of 2022, swam on the swim team, and attended PSAC’s. She did not return after her first year due to personal reasons. She now works full time taking care of two ladies with developmental disabilities. She plans to attend RACC in the Fall and major in nursing. She previously coached last summer and will be returning this summer! Lana is so excited to work with everyone on the team and is looking forward to another fun-filled season!
Susannah North- Assistant Coach (sgnorth123@gmail.com)
Susannah began swimming for Antietam when she was 9 and has continued to present day. She started swimming in the winter for Reading Mini-Knights and when she got to 6th grade she transitioned to the Reading YMCA team. She continued swimming at the Y through her senior year. Here she qualified for districts every year and qualified for States her junior and senior year. Susannah also swam for Twin Valley High School 10th-12th grade where she was a two time qualifier for the PI-AAA districts. She was the team captain senior year and received the MVP award. Susannah is graduating high school in June of 2024 and plans to continue her academic and swim career at a four year college. She is excited to work with her younger Antietam teammates this summer!
