Supporting Inspiring Young Readers
We are thrilled to announce that we raised $1,500 for Inspiring Young Readers, a local all-volunteer nonprofit dedicated to igniting a passion for reading among disadvantaged children aged 7 and under in Montgomery County, MD. In addition to the funds raised, our members donated 33 books, providing these young minds with the priceless gifts of knowledge and imagination.
Empowering LGBT Students
Our members' donations during registration had a tremendous impact, enabling us to provide over 1,600 school supplies to LGBT kids in the DC area. These essential tools are more than just supplies; they are symbols of support and encouragement for these students' educational journeys.
Spreading Pride and Joy
During Pride, our spirit of giving reached new heights. We donated over 1,600 items, including vibrant rainbow flags, pins, buttons, and stickers, spreading love and pride throughout the community. Many of our members proudly walked in the parade with TeamDC, handing these items out and creating moments of joy and unity.
