Payments for hockey fees only can be made by credit card. Cash, Cheque or e-transfer will not be accepted.

  • In addition to the initial hockey fees, parents should expect to pay additional fees for tournament entries, extra practice ice and a wind up/end of season get together. Any additional fees, team budget, and team fundraising/sponsorship will be agreed upon as a team and will be collected by the team manager.
  • SMHA hosts several tournaments throughout the season which are fundraisers for the SMHA and the host teams. Parents may choose to volunteer on the tournament committee. Each family will be required to fill tournament volunteer shifts which will be equally distributed.
  • If a surplus of funds remains in the team account at the end of the season a refund may be given to families (refunds must not be greater than fees collected from each family at the start of the season). Fees or expenses that have been offset by fundraising will not be refunded.
  • At least one parent/guardian per registrant will be required to complete the Respect in Sport for Hockey Parents prior to the season start. If a parent has not completed the course your child will be unable to start the season. CLICK HERE to access the online course.
