Our History
Vern Way was quite the icon in the City of Beacon. Many don't know he built what is now the V.R. Way football field and and field house from the ground up.
A local community man who was able to seek friends, family, coworkers, local unions, businesses and organizations to all contribute in any way they could. His hard work and dedication were like no other.
It meant more to him that the kids in our community had a place to come, feel safe, secure and supported while they played the game of football. The football program in Beacon was truly his passion and we want nothing more than to honor him and his endeavors while bringing back the sport to our community kids.

That's what we strive for here at Beacon Youth Football. We want all our community kids to learn the game and have just a plain ol' blast doing so!
Our spring 2025 season is coming!
We're back and adding new Bulldog Pups to our growing program! We're gearing up for our next season and bringing on new and bigger things. This year we decided to implement an ALL GIRLS FLAG league for any girl in grades 6-8 who want to join in on the fun. Since flag is becoming a growing sport across the nation and infiltrating into high schools as a varsity sport, we knew it was time to get on that train.
Our ALL GIRLS League this year has a special First Inaugural Season rate of just $75 which includes an official NFL flag jersey and flags. We will also be having female coaches on the sidelines and looking for anyone interested in also helping.
Our next general flag season will also be underway for any player in grades K-8. We had a huge success last year and we know it can be even bigger this year. We have decided to keep the rate the same and will be $110 per player and includes an official NFL Flag jersey as well as flags.
Ready to join us for tackle too? We got that as well! We're offering a HUGE deal for anyone who wants to throw the hail mary of deals. For a limited time we're offering an EARLY BIRD SPECIAL to anyone interested. Cost is $350 per player and you will not only get to join us for our next tackle season you will also get our Spring Flag for FREE. But hurry this deal will end April 4th.
