Gold erupted early with a flurry of first-period goals—Rylan Brownrigg and Gabriel May each struck multiple times while Bryson Calder and Lucas Roeland also found the net—then kept up the pressure in the second as Greyson Bland and May added more markers. Red battled back with a string of second-period goals from Ryder Olford, Logan Ploschak, Nixon Buskell and others to keep the game lively, and both netminders recorded a number of saves. The game included some penalties, and both teams showcased strong competition and plenty of excitement throughout.
