The Henry County Basketball League, powered by Henry County Parks and Recreation Athletics, offers a dynamic, high-energy basketball experience designed for athletes ages 6u -17u and skill levels. Our league is built on a foundation of fun, development, sportsmanship, and community, creating an environment where players can thrive both on and off the court.

NEW FOR THE 2026–2027 SEASON!
HIGH SCHOOL VARSITY AND JV BASKETBALL PLAYERS ARE NOW ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN HENRY COUNTY RECREATION BASKETBALL!
Players currently participating on their high school Varsity or JV basketball teams may now also register and participate in our recreational basketball program.

hoops county player evaluations schedule
Hoops County Player Evaluations
Player evaluations for the upcoming Hoops County Basketball season will be held at JP Moseley Rec Center beginning October 11.
All registered players are expected to attend their scheduled evaluation. There will be no make-up evaluations. Players who are unable to attend will still be placed on a team during the draft process as a blind pick.
Players should wear comfortable athletic clothing, basketball/athletic shoes, and bring a water bottle. Please do not bring basketballs—basketballs will be provided.
A parent meeting will be held during each evaluation session in the Community Room. Parents will not be permitted inside the gym until evaluations are completed.
Evaluation dates include:
- 6U Coed & 8U Boys: October 11
- 8U Girls & 10U Girls: October 13
- 10U Boys: October 15
- 12U Boys: October 27
- 12U Girls: October 29
- 14U Boys & 17U Boys: November 3
For divisions with split evaluation times, players should attend based on the first letter of their last name (A–L or M–Z).
Important: This season, only sibling tags will be honored. Friend, coach, carpool, and other team-placement requests will not be accepted.
