SPRING 2026 ID SESSIONS - REGISTRATION OPENING SOON

Our spring teams will consist of 15 skaters and 2 goalies.  We typically play at the Tier 2 level within the Atlantic Hockey Group (AHG) circuit of spring hockey.  The fee for ID Sessions is $30 - this allows your player to attend both designated ice times for their age divsion.  The first ice time will consist of skills and drills, and the second ice time will be a scrimmage.  Teams are formed shortly after the ID sessions are completed.

All ID Sessions are hosted at the Tri-County Complex in Fredericton Junction. 

U9 (2017 & 2018) ID Sessions:
Monday, February 16: 9:15 to 10:15am (Skills & Drills)
Monday, February 16: 10:30 to 11:30am (Scrimmage)
Cost: $30

U11 (2015 & 2016) ID Sessions:
Monday, February 16: 11:45 to 12:45pm (Skills & Drills)
Monday, February 16: 2:15 to 3:15pm (Scrimmage)
Cost: $30

U13 (2013 & 2014) ID Sessions:
Monday, February 16: 3:30 to 4:30pm (Skills & Drills)
Monday, February 16: 4:45 to 5:45pm (Scrimmage)
Cost: $30

U15 (2012 & 2011) ID Sessions:
*Please note that we are gauging interest in a Tier 1 team as well as a Tier 2 team.  Tier 1 is suited for AA players who have played checking hockey, Tier 2 is better suited for A and C players.  Dependent on interest, there may be an additional ID session added for this group.

There are NO refunds for ID sessions.  Since we are one of the last programs to run ID sessions, we find that people will register for multiple ID sessions, and then request a refund from us if they have made another spring team.  There is a lot of administrative work and planning that goes into the ID sessions.  Thank you for understanding, extenuating circumstances may apply. 



YCS Spring hockey program

We partner with Champions Hockey and Atlantic Hockey Group (AHG) for our spring season to ice teams starting at the U9 level. The spring season consists of a minimum of 8 hours of practice and 12 games, including the NB Cup tournament. Our spring season starts first of April, and goes until the end of May/first weekend of June.

We compete with a full roster of 15 skaters and 2 goalies. Program costs include:

  • Minimum of 8 hours of practice
  • 10 League Games, plus 2 games the weekend of the NB Cup
  • Jersey
  • Socks
  • Insurance

Additional costs would include the Atlantic Cup Tournament in Halifax. These costs are typically covered by fundraising efforts.

Practices are held locally in Fredericton or Fredericton Junction. All games are scheduled as double-headers on either a Saturday or Sunday.

We also offer a sponsorship program to families to help offset the registration costs. This is an individual option that is not mandatory.
