1000 catches challenge

The 1000 Catches Challenge is a wall ball drill designed to build stick-handling consistency, hand-eye coordination, and endurance. The goal is to complete 1,000 total catches in a single session — 500 with the dominant hand and 500 with the non-dominant hand.

Players stand an appropriate distance from a solid wall and throw/catch continuously, aiming for clean, controlled reps. This can be done in timed intervals (e.g., track the number of catches in one minute) or simply counted until the target number is reached.

The challenge emphasizes repetition under focus, forcing players to develop equal skill in both hands while reinforcing proper passing mechanics. Video verification or a partner counter ensures accuracy and accountability.
