General Board
DEI Director
- Lead initiatives to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion within the sports league.
- Develop and implement strategies to create a welcoming and affirming environment.
- Collaborate with community organizations to strengthen relationships and partnerships.
- Conduct regular assessments to ensure policies and practices align with DEI goals.
Sport-Specific Roles
Dodgeball Co-Directors
- Oversee the overall operations and logistics of the Dodgeball program.
- Develop and implement league rules, policies, and guidelines for Dodgeball.
- Collaborate with team captains to ensure a positive and competitive league experience.
- Address and resolve issues related to player conduct, sportsmanship, and rule violations.
Kickball Co-Director
- Oversee the overall operations and logistics of the Kickball program.
- Develop and implement league rules, policies, and guidelines for Kickball.
- Collaborate with team captains to ensure a positive and competitive league experience.
- Address and resolve issues related to player conduct, sportsmanship, and rule violations.
Head Umpire (Dodgeball or Kickball)
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of umpires.
- Ensure fair play and adherence to league rules during matches.
- Address disputes and conflicts, maintaining a positive and respectful game environment.
- Provide feedback and evaluations to umpires for continuous improvement.
Events Chair (Kickball)
- Plan and coordinate sport-specific events and tournaments throughout the season.
- Collaborate with sponsors and vendors to enhance the event experience.
- Manage logistics, including venue selection, permits, and equipment.
- Evaluate event success and gather feedback for future planning.
Email Communications Chair (Dodgeball)
- Manage email communications to keep sports participants informed and engaged.
- Develop and distribute newsletters, announcements, and updates regarding league activities.
- Coordinate with other board members to ensure consistent messaging.
- Monitor email analytics to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies.
