The SF LGBT Center’s mission is to connect our diverse community to opportunities, resources, and each other to achieve our vision of a stronger, healthier, and more equitable world for LGBTQ people and our allies.
As the only organization serving the full spectrum of San Francisco’s LGBTQ+ community, the Center is a central place for our community and allies to gather, organize, celebrate, and access services. The Center works to strengthen our community by fostering greater opportunities for people to thrive, offering aid in organizing for our future, celebrating our history and culture, and ultimately building resources to create a legacy for future generations. The Center’s major program areas are Financial Services, Employment Services, Youth Services, Community Programs, and Room Rentals.
For over 20 years, the Center has connected LGBTQ+ community members to opportunities, resources, and each other. The SF LGBT Center is service-driven, providing direct support for over 7,000 people a year needing employment counseling, connections to stable housing, financial wellness resources, information and referrals, and more. The SF LGBT Center is a connector, welcoming over 100,000 visitors to the building and partnering with hundreds of community organizations yearly. The SF LGBT Center is a trusted steward, offering an accessible home to tenant organizations offering essential community services including the Mayor's Office Liaison to the Transgender Community, San Francisco Community Health Center (a federally qualified, primary and specialty care community clinic), Aguilas (serving gay and bisexual Latinos), and Bay Area Legal Aid.
Stonewall Sports San Francisco is proud to support the only nonprofit organization in SF that is dedicated to helping all members of the LGBTQ+ community across a diverse set of needs.
