Ottawa Elite provides an elite training and development environment by selecting the best coaches in the region to supply superior skill development and training sessions at top-notch facilities. Our teams train and practice at Carleton University and Coaches are assisted by players on the Carleton Ravens Men's Basketball Team. Our teams and Coaches have access to university-level training and mentorship throughout the season. Ottawa Elite teams participate in various leagues and tournaments to provide athletes with the best possible schedule for skill development and competition. The Ottawa Youth Basketball Academy (OYBA) strives to keep registration fees and team fees as low as possible to ensure inclusivity for all financial situations. For the 2025-2026 season Ottawa Elite will have elite boys teams from U13/Grade 7 to U16/Grade 10, participating in various leagues and tournaments. Ottawa Elite is proud to have its elite players participate in the Canadian Youth Basketball League and various other leagues and tournaments as determined ty the Coaches each season. Registration fees for the 2026-2026 season are $675.00 which includes the player's home and away uniform kit. There may also be team fees collected by the team which could be $400.00+ depending on the schedule. All registration fees are due in full upon accepting a spot on an Ottawa Elite team. |

Ottawa Elite Prep provides top-level grade 11, 12 and Prep year basketball players additional preparation and development for post-secondary playing opportunities. Our elite-level Coaches will run both team and individual sessions. Practices and games will be filmed using the PlaySight SmartCourt system and shared via the HUDL Sportcode platform. In addition to film analysis, Ottawa Elite Prep players will have access to Carleton University's Ravens Nest, a Top-Flight basketball court and training sessions conducted by Certified Trainers at the Carleton High Performance Center. The Ottawa Elite Prep season will run from tryouts in August to approximately May each year. This comprehensive program is designed to provide players with exposure to high-level competition, fostering both athletic and personal growth. The season will consist of participation in the North Pole Hoops D1 Prep League and Prep tournaments in Montreal, Toronto and the U.S. as well as a competitive exhibition schedule. Registration fees for the 2025-2026 season are $775.00 which includes the player's uniform kit. There will also be additional fees collected by the team to be determined at the start of the season. All registration fees are due in full upon accepting a spot on an Ottawa Elite Prep team. |

We're committed to helping all families access a range of activities, from boxing to bowling and skating to skiing, and more. Please note that, Individual Child Grant applications may no longer be accepted at your local Chapter. Please register/log in to your Jumpstart account to confirm the Chapter's status.

KIDSPORT OTTAWA
We provide grants to help cover the costs of registration fees so that all kids aged 18 and under in Ottawa can play a season of sport.
Our chapter accepts applications and administers grants of up to $250 per child/year, for kids who live in Ottawa, or in one of the other communities we serve. If you live outside of Ottawa please contact the Provincial Office to find your nearest chapter, or to get support through the Provincial Fund.
