Aron Masilingi is a former basketball player turned coach with a proven track record of success and a deep commitment to player development. From grade 9 through 12, he demonstrated exceptional leadership and skill, serving as a three-time captain of his high school team. In his senior year, Aron played a key role in guiding his team to the OFSAA Finals, where they finished as the second-best team in the province in 2018.
In 2019, Aron captained the Heritage Men's College Basketball Team, earning the prestigious Coach's Award while leading his team to both a Conference and Provincial Championship marking the first time in the school's history. His leadership and dedication were further demonstrated in 2023 when he was appointed Assistant Coach for the Heritage Men’s College Basketball Team.
Aron is a highly respected coach in Ottawa, leading the U15 teams for Ottawa Elite and EVO Basketball. Both programs have become some of the most respected teams in the region, known for their emphasis on skill development, teamwork, and mental toughness. Aron’s leadership, competitive spirit, and focus on preparing young athletes for high-level basketball opportunities make Ottawa Elite and EVO Basketball premier programs for aspiring players in the region.
