national senior circuit (nsc)

The premier platform for senior boys basketball in canada

The National Senior Circuit (NSC) is an all-inclusive initiative designed to showcase the best senior boys’ high school and prep programs from across the country. With national reach and elite competition, NSC is the premier stage for Canada’s rising basketball talent.

eligibility

To be eligible for competition in the National Senior Circuit:
• Players must have valid identification, be registered at the participating school or club team and be born September 1, 2007 to December 31, 2010. The National Senior Circuit reserves the right to request proof of age from a player at any time, if deemed necessary.
• Students may only play for one NSC team and must play in at least one circuit game to be eligible for the National Championship event.
• If you have a team in both the NJC and NSC, you will be allowed to have your junior-aged players compete in NSC sessions. There will be NO allowances or special circumstances for overage players.
• A player may be able to transfer to another NSC program, but the official transfer must happen prior to January 1, 2027. A player can only transfer once during our calendar season and be in good standing with the former team.
• If a player transfers after January 1st, a team can file for a special exemption to the Board for possible approval. This same player will need to compete in (1) full weekend session to be eligible for the Championship. No transfer player will be able to participate until Board approval.

The NSC will be accepting Rep/Club teams as in previous years, with a mixed schedule of Prep/Rep teams and one National Championship.

Team Registration and Roster Instructions

Create your TeamLinkt account and register your team for each session in which you will be participating.
Your registration confirmation email will include a Join Code and registration links. These must be sent to all players and Coaching Staff so they can complete their individual roster registration.
Once a player or Coaching Staff member has completed the registration process, they will appear on your TeamLinkt roster and on our website.

Registration Requirements

All players and Coaching Staff must be registered before the registration deadline for each session. Registration is required for:

  • Inclusion on the official team roster
  • Inclusion on the game sheet
  • Entrance to the venue
  • Eligibility to participate in the session

The maximum roster size is:

  • 15 players
  • 4 Coaching Staff members

After each session, roster changes may be made through the TeamLinkt app until the registration deadline for the next session. This process will continue until December 31, when all rosters will be locked for the remainder of the season.
Any roster changes made after a session’s registration deadline will not appear on the game sheet for that session.
Only players who are officially registered and listed on the team roster are eligible to participate. Manual additions to rosters on game day are not permitted.
Please also ensure that all Coaching Staff members complete their registration so their names appear on the roster and the approved list at the venue entrance.
