eligibility

To be eligible for competition in the 2025-26 circuit, players must have valid identification and be born in 2010 or later. Students may only play for one NJC team, and must play in at least one full session to be eligible for the National Championship event. There will be NO exceptions or allowances for overage players.
Also of note:
1. NJC players are eligible to play in the NSC/TPC preliminary sessions as long as it’s for the same school’s participating senior program. These same junior-aged players will be eligible to participate in either or both NJC/NSC/TPC Championship events.
2. The NJC will allow a grade 8 or underage player to compete in the NJC if they are registered in your program. These same players would also be eligible for the NJC Championship event.
3. NJC players will be eligible to participate in The Platinum Circuit sessions/Championship as long as they are registered at the same school where all the Platinum Circuit team attend. An NJC player that is going to be brought up must be approved by our Board;
4. The NJC will be accepting Scholastic/Rep/Club teams as in previous years, it will be a mixed schedule of Prep/Rep.
5. If a student-athlete transfers mid-season to another program participating in a circuit, that student-athlete may NOT be eligible for any future events. The transfer’s new program can submit an application outlining any special circumstances for the transfer. This application will be verified by the previous program, reviewed and voted on by our Executive Board before that student-athlete participates in a future circuit weekend.
6. The NJC reserves the right to accept or deny a team's participation in the National Junior Circuit sessions and/or championship.
