Phase One

The first phase of the Sideline Savings Coupon Book Fundraiser is designed with the intent for each athlete to go out into their community and approach local businesses about the potential of free advertising in our coupon book. Every verified coupon admission will take $50 off your program cost. Once we've reached 100 coupons we will move into Phase 2

Overview

➢ Athletes approach businesses with a coupon ask letter either in person, on the phone, or by email

➢ We recommend targeting local small businesses like restaurants, esthetic services, mechanics, lawyers, dentists, chiropractors, etc, and offer them free advertising ➢ When your business agrees to place a coupon have them follow and complete this link Sideline Savings Coupon Submission Form

➢ With each verified donation of a coupon, the business owner will also receive access to place top ad’s on our savings app.

➢ We recommend a “buy one get one free” coupon however any way a business would like to contribute to the cause we can gratefully accept.

FAQ

What does buy one get one mean? The concept is to buy one item and get a second item free or a percentage off. Buy One Get One Free does NOT need to be the same item. Just percentages off on items work as well.

How do direct sponsor cheques and escrow accounts now work? Any amount raised in fundraising raised over your program fee and trip selections or by sponsorship cheque will go to your escrow account. Escrow can not be paid out unless the Athletes program fee and selected trips are paid in full with a 20% processing tax. Escrow accounts can go up to $1,000 per selection and can not exceed $5,000 for travel purposes or future program costs only. Government-issued or charitable funding cheques can be applied to escrow, program payments, and trip selections.

What happens in Phase Two

In phase two we will distribute coupon book/apparel fundraising packages through both team initiatives and independent sales. Our goal is to help you raise any outstanding program balances and help cover personal travel costs, trips, or chaperone fees.
