RAWLINGS TIGERS NOVA FALL 2025 TRYOUTS FAQS


What ages are eligible for tryouts?
Tryouts are open for players 9U, 11U-13U for the upcoming Fall 2025 season.


Where and what time are tryouts?
Tryouts will be held at Neabsco Eagle Park (address: 15801 Neabsco Rd, Woodbridge, VA 22191) on one of the following dates:

  • Wednesday, June 4 – 5:00 PM
  • Wednesday, June 11 – 5:00 PM

Please arrive 10–15 minutes early for check-in.


Do I need to register for tryouts?
Yes, all players must register prior to tryouts. Registration links are posted above.
Please sign up for the appropriate tryout based on your player's league age for Fall 2025. If you’re registering more than one player, please complete a separate form for each.


What is my player’s league age?
Use the chart below to determine your player’s age division for registration:

  • 9U: May 1, 2016 – April 30, 2017
  • 11U: May 1, 2014 – April 30, 2015
  • 12U: May 1, 2013 – April 30, 2014
  • 13U: May 1, 2012 – April 30, 2013

How many tryouts does my player attend?
Only one tryout date is needed. Make-up sessions will be offered if a player is unavailable or if a tryout is canceled due to weather.


What should my player bring to tryouts?
Players should wear full baseball attire and bring:

  • Glove
  • Bat
  • Helmet
  • Cleats and turf shoes (if possible)
  • Water bottle

Can parents attend tryouts?
Yes, parents and spectators are welcome, but must remain in the designated spectator areas (bleachers or outside the fence). Parents are not allowed on the field, dugouts, or batting cages during tryouts.
