MLAC Kellar Welding Wins 5-4
MLAC Kellar Welding edged the Sturgeon Sting 5-4 in a lively, back-and-forth battle. Alex Smith and Crosby Komick struck early for MLAC, but Sturgeon answered with late first-period goals from Grady Connolly-Murphy and Jake Eggli. Connolly-Murphy added another in the second before Aikam Banga pulled MLAC level, and Bennett Stamp and Ben Rybak then gave MLAC a two-goal cushion early in the third. Stetson Bernier brought Sturgeon within one, while the game included some penalties, but MLAC held on for a thrilling finish. Both teams delivered an exciting contest filled with momentum swings and determined play.
