St. Albert Lightning held off a spirited Fort Saskatchewan Rangers comeback to win 7-5. Lightning built an early lead with goals from Kasheton Osepchuk, Kento Rattai, and Wilder MacMillan, then added three more in the second period from Brooks Sanregret, Beckett Skuta, and Wade Schening. The Rangers answered with goals by Noah LaRoche, Cage Grekul, and Jonas Guiltner before Owen Lain scored twice in the third period, but Skuta’s second goal helped St. Albert stay ahead. The game included some penalties, and both teams brought plenty of energy to an exciting, hard-fought finish.
