Early in the first period Abby Larson gave Central Alberta Rage the lead at 9:04 off assists from Sawyer Hamel and Tekla Nanias, and Kelowna replied with Kennedy Konings’ late first-period goal at 0:19 helped by Grace Deleurme. The contest featured a few penalties during the game, including minors to Eleanor Fox Wright, Maela Woodman, Sawyer Hamel and Summer Goebel, and solid goaltending with Zoe Unger and Ellie Hoodless finishing the full 45 minutes. Both teams delivered a competitive, entertaining matchup that showcased tough play and timely finishing.
