Kelowna Heat edged Catalyst Hockey YYC 4-2 in a spirited contest. Amy Tataryn opened the scoring for Catalyst early in the first, but Kelowna answered in the second with goals from Avery Thody and Junko Shin before Paityn Martin snuck one in for Catalyst right at the second-period buzzer. The third saw Kelowna pull away as Tegan Gammie and Grace Deleurme scored to seal the win; the game included some penalties. Both teams battled hard and delivered an exciting, competitive 45 minutes of hockey.
