The U11AA Bow River Bruins beat the Lethbridge Hurricanes Red 5-2 in a spirited contest. The Bruins jumped ahead early with goals by Oliver Slaughter and Madden MacLeod in the first period, and added markers from Eli Sabean (two goals) and Max Slaughter to seal the win, while the Hurricanes answered with goals from Griffen Brunner and Luke Stimson. Goaltenders Brooks Podmoroff and Cameron Sanderson made numerous saves throughout the game, and the game included some penalties that added physical edge to the match. Both teams showed great energy and competitive spirit in a fun, action-packed game.
