Take Me Home, Country Roads rolled to a 6-1 victory over The Boys are Back in Town. Wayne Sonnenberg opened the scoring for The Boys are Back in Town early in the first, but Kevin Johnson sparked the rout with multiple goals, including one at the buzzer to end the second period; Rod Owens and Shaun Tyler also found the net while Brian Garrity, Tony Frias and others set up scoring chances. The game included some penalties during the second period. Both teams battled hard and delivered plenty of excitement for the fans in a spirited 45-minute contest.
