Boise Jr. Steelheads 16u AA rolled to a 10-1 victory over the Sno-King Jr. Thunderbirds 16U AA. Boise struck early and often, with goals from Briggs Hennen, Daniel Beeler, Cash Newton and others piling up through the first two periods while Hudson Rogers turned aside many shots; Jace Byers made numerous saves for Sno-King before surrendering late to a Vincent Grieci goal. The game included some penalties, including minors and a misconduct, but both teams kept battling and the action stayed lively through the third. Overall it was a high-scoring, entertaining contest that showcased strong offensive bursts from Boise and resilient goaltending moments from Sno-King.
