Sno-King Jr. Thunderbirds 16U AA edged the Tri-Cities Jr. Americans 16U AA 3-2 in a hard-fought contest. Early fireworks saw Owen Beatty open the scoring for Sno-King before Tyler Hanson answered for Tri-Cities, and Daniel Shachak’s second-period goal put the Thunderbirds back in front. In the third, William Willborn pulled Tri-Cities even, but Thayne Degan’s late goal restored the lead and sealed the win for Sno-King. The game included some penalties, and both teams showed plenty of grit and competitive spirit throughout.
