Panhandle Knights 18u edged the Boise Jr. Steelheads 18u AA 3-2 in a tight, exciting contest. The Knights struck first with Roman Hughes and Andrew Goggin finding the net in the opening period, and Caleb Shcherbina added the go-ahead goal early in the second; the Steelheads replied with goals from Tate Moran and Matthew DiPalma late to keep things thrilling. Both goalies were busy all night with Vinny Hughes and Micah Wendt turning away numerous chances, and the game included some penalties that added to the physical tempo. Both teams battled hard and delivered an entertaining, competitive matchup.
