The West Central Wheat Kings celebrated a 6-3 victory over the Wheatland Warriors after a lively 60-minute battle. West Central built an early cushion with goals from Branlin Pernitsky and Mason Menei, then added tallies from Jack Reinbold and James Grant to lead 4-1 after two periods. Reinbold struck again in the third, while Jacoby Calkins also found the net to strengthen the Wheat Kings’ advantage. Blake Wiart scored late for the Warriors, who also received a goal from Weston Clarkson earlier, and the game included some penalties. Both teams brought plenty of energy to an entertaining contest.
