The Bananas beat the Prairie Pirates 6-3 in a lively contest. Ariel Ozipko opened the scoring early for the Prairie Pirates, and Jody Wintonyk added another Pirate goal in the third, while Ethan Lang struck twice and Daxton Lang, Kellen Bojic and Camryn Gillis all found the net for the Bananas in a flurry of offense. Goaltenders were busy throughout with many saves recorded on both ends, and the game included some penalties. Both teams showed spirited play and the Bananas ultimately prevailed in an entertaining game.
