Bananas edged the Goal Diggers 2-1 in a thrilling overtime finish. Both goalies stood tall through a flurry of stops before Ethan Lang opened scoring late in the third for Bananas and Tyler Boswell answered for the Goal Diggers shortly after, setting up a tense extra period. In overtime Pippy Gwyneth Pritchard buried the winner, and the game included some penalties. Both teams showed plenty of grit and excitement in a competitive, well-fought contest.
