PhD Predators Female edged the 2011 Female Manitoba All-Stars 3-1 in a thrilling back-and-forth contest. Katie Watson opened the scoring for the Manitoba All-Stars in the first period on assists from Lily Benjaminson and Emily Malcolm, but Amélie Paseshnik evened things late in the second after a sequence of penalties. In the final minutes the Predators surged with late tallies from Bree Farmer and Maya Lischka, both beating Maddie Flannery to seal the comeback. The game included some penalties, and both teams showed great competitiveness and heart throughout the 60 minutes.
