The 2012 Female Manitoba All Stars beat the PhD Predators Female 3-1 in a competitive, entertaining game. Early in the first, the Predators had a two-minute tripping penalty, and both teams exchanged chances before the All Stars struck: Peyton Sheppard scored for the Predators while Jordanne Bouchard and Bryelle Muntain answered for the All Stars in the second. The All Stars added an insurance goal in the third when Angelina Frey finished a play set up by Marissa Thompson and Ainsley Gosselin; the game included some penalties along the way. Both teams showed spirited play and kept the contest lively from puck drop to the final horn.
