The Hotdogs edged the PhD Panthers 9-6 in a wild back-and-forth affair. The Hotdogs struck early with Jackson Anderson and Jack Pawluk goals and kept the pressure with a string of tallies from Brody Smith, Cashton Mark, Benjamin Plett and multiple Pawluk finishes, while Anderson set up several scores. The Panthers answered with goals by Griffin Richardson, Zachary Leclerc, Jagger Coates and a late trio from Maddox Audino, Wade Cantin and Declan Loschiavo to keep the game fiercely competitive. The game included some penalties, and both teams delivered plenty of excitement and competitive fire throughout the contest.
